INTERNAL MEDICINE Judy Delafield is board - certified in internal medicine Dr. Delafield received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas, Austin and a Ph.D from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in microbiology. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Dr. Delafield participated in a residency in pathology and completed the residency in internal medicine, at the Veteran Affairs (VA) Wadsworth Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Delafield was awarded a Kenamer Fellowship in Internal Medicine at Harbor - UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Dr. Delafield has been in private practice for 20 years. Prior to her privat practice, she held many leadership roles at the Greater Los Angeles VA, including Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine, Program Director, Primary Care and Medical Education Program (PRIME), Co-Director, Women's Health Fellowship, Directory of Primary and Acute Care Center, and Program Director, VA Western Region Faculty Development Program. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Delafield is a diplomate in the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP). She has publised extensively in the medical literature and is co-auther of "The Outpatient Care Handbook". She is and invited speaker and lecturer and was awarded the oustanding teacher award, "Excellence in Education" from the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Delafield currently practices as a general internist in Beverly Hills.
